BNV দরিদ্র লোকটির একটা স্ত্রী মেষ ছাড়া আর কিছুই ছিল না| দরিদ্র লোকটি মেষটাকে খাওয়াতো| মেষটা ঐ দরিদ্র লোক ও তার সন্তানসন্ততিদের সঙ্গেই বড় হল| মেষটা গরীব লোকটার থেকেই খাবার খেত এবং তার পেয়ালা থেকেই পান করত| মেষটা ঐ লোকটির বুকের ওপর ঘুমাতো| মেষটা লোকটির মেয়ের মতই ছিল|
KJV But the poor [man] had nothing, save one little ewe lamb, which he had bought and nourished up: and it grew up together with him, and with his children; it did eat of his own meat, and drank of his own cup, and lay in his bosom, and was unto him as a daughter.
YLT And the poor one hath nothing, Except one little ewe-lamb, Which he hath bought, and keepeth alive, And it groweth up with him, And with his sons together; Of his morsel it eateth, And from his cup it drinketh, And in his bosom it lieth, And it is to him as a daughter;

ERVEN But the poor man had nothing except one little female lamb that he bought. The poor man fed the lamb, and the lamb grew up with this poor man and his children. She ate from the poor man's food and drank from his cup. The lamb slept on the poor man's chest. The lamb was like a daughter to the poor man.
